WHAT IS PATTERN MAKING?
Pattern making is the process of creating patterns using fabrics, the raw materials of fashion, correctly and transferring these patterns to the model.
 
WHAT IS A PATTERN MAKER?
Ensures that the textile product determined by the designer is prepared in suitable dimensions for use in mass production and creates its pattern. 
Determines the pattern and materials to be used for the product and ensures that the sample is sewn. It performs the grading process.

1975 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. 1997 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Hazır Giyim Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. Mezuniyetinin ardından 2 yıl özel sektörde Giyim Üretim Planlama Uzmanı olarak görev yaptı.Sonrasında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı bünyesinde kadrolu Giyim Üretim Teknolojisi Öğretmeni olarak çalışmaya başladı. 25 yıl boyunca Meslek Liseleri ve Halk Eğitim Merkezlerinde kalıp hazırlama teknikleri ile dikiş yöntem ve teknikleri üzerine eğitim verdi.Emekliliğinin ardından Atölye Ataşehir’de mesleki deneyimlerini paylaşmaya ve ders vermeye devam etmektedir.İş DeneyimleriTC. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Giyim Üretim Teknolojisi Öğretmeni Temmuz 1996 – Mart 1998Hazır giyim sektörüne yönelik kalıp, dikiş teknikleri, kalite kontrol ve üretim süreçlerinde uygulamalı eğitimler verdim.Lectra ve Gerber CAD sistemleri üzerine teknik eğitimler düzenledim.Atölye organizasyonları ile öğrencilere saha deneyimi kazandırdım.Dokuma ve örme kumaşlara yönelik ileri düzey bilgi aktarımı sağladım.Lean üretim prensipleriyle %25 zaman tasarrufu sağladım.50’den fazla firma ile staj ve iş birliği süreçlerini yönettim.URKAY Tekstil A.Ş Planlama ve Üretim Takip Uzmanı Mart 1998 – Temmuz 2023Kadın giyim koleksiyonlarında ürün geliştirme, kalıp hazırlama ve numune süreçlerini yönettim.Teslimat sürelerini optimize ederek %95 zamanında teslimat oranı sağladım.Kumaş fire oranını %12’den %7’ye düşürdüm.İngilizce teknik dosyalar ile uluslararası kalite denetimlerini başarıyla geçtim.İç üretim atölyelerinde iş akışını ve zaman yönetimini geliştirdim.Numune sürecinde müşteri geri bildirimlerine göre ürün onay hızını artırdım.Üretim, planlama ve kalite kontrol arasında entegrasyon sağlayarak operasyonel sürekliliği ve kalite standardını güçlendirdim
